Unique Gift Ideas Abound at Thompson Okanagan Christmas Markets | iINFOnews

Artisans and craftspeople have an abundance of unique gift ideas during the Christmas shopping season in the Okanagan Thompson.

Restrictions related to COVID-19 events limited markets last year, but they are returning this season on a smaller scale.

South Okanagan:

Starting from the south, the Osoyoos Christmas market will be held on December 4 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to the Royal Canadian Legion.

For those who enjoy drinking while shopping for gifts, Echo Bay Vineyard in Okanagan Falls is hosting the Holiday Cheer Sip & Shop on November 19 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and November 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Progressive Winter Market takes place at the Kaleden Community Hall on November 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In Summerland, the Christmas tree market will be held on November 27 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Rustic and Refined.

Central Okanagan:

Peachland is hosting the Christmas Craft Fair at the Community Center on November 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In Kelowna, the Rustic Reel Brewing Company Ltd hosts the A Reel Christmas Market on November 27 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and November 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Also in Kelowna is the Magical Christmas Market which takes place on December 4, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and December 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On the outskirts of Kelowna are the East Kelowna Christmas Markets, which take place tomorrow, November 14, and again on November 28 and December 12. Markets run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

North Okanagan:

In Vernon, Kal Tire Place hosts a craft and gift festival on November 19 and 20, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., respectively.

Also in Vernon, this is an opportunity for Christmas shopping in the evenings, as the Polson Christmas Market takes place on November 27 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Enderby Farmers’ Market will host the outdoor Christmas market on December 3 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Armstrong Farmers’ Christmas Market is scheduled for December 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hassen Arena.

Another great shopping opportunity in Armstrong is the International Holiday Market on November 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and November 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at PEI grounds.

Exchange :

The Chase Country Christmas Craft Fair will be held on December 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Community Hall. Candy canes are the theme for this year.

In Salmon Arm, the Shuswap Spinners and Weavers Christmas Market will be held at the Piccadilly Mall on November 24, 25, 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thompson Nicola:

In Kamloops, the BC SPCA is hosting the Christmas Craft Fair on November 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the TRU Conference Center.

Merritt’s Country Christmas Week will continue this year with the parade scheduled for November 26 at 7 p.m. More details about the event will be available on the group’s Facebook page.
